Hello and Welcome to College Solo!

Online/virtual learning is nothing new, especially not in the world of higher education, but it certainly seemed like it for many people at the height of the pandemic in 2020. 

As someone who graduated high school in 2014 and took the "unfavorable" route to attend college exclusively online, I know how it feels after being accustomed to years of being in a traditional classroom and then going digital. 

In the beginning, the journey was hard and lonely. And for years throughout my studies, I put my regular life on hold. 

In many respects, I felt I didn't deserve a life outside of my studies because back then, online classes were considered "taking the easy route." But I am sure since you are here, you know that online classes in college are not easy at all. And 2020 proved this to be the case for many students and parents alike. 

With College Solo, my mission is not only to make navigating life as an online college student easier but to also encourage you to take pride in your studies and get as much out of the online learning landscape as you possibly can. 

Just because you decided to do this whole college thing solo does not mean it has to be subpar, unfulfilling, and strictly academic. You can excel in your classes while also making your mark and I am here to help you do just that!
